Be careful going undercover with ecoterrorists; along with the alfalfa, you might grow a conscience. The Seduction of the Mole In Too Deep is an old tale, but THE EAST tells it so skillfully, the dilemma lodges in the intestines. Alexander Skarsgård and Ellen Page do great work, but this is Brit Marling’s movie; the actress who nearly stole ARBITRAGE proves once again that she’s one to watch. –YSM
