Trailer Trash 2:

BYZANTIUM (artsy mother-daughter vampires)–they don’t sparkle, so yes….

DIRTY WARS (documentary about the hidden side of the war on terror)–esp. in light of this week’s revelations of U.S. gov’t covert overreach, absolutely….

2 GUNS (Denzel & Marky Mark undercover bromance)–I said Marky Mark, so no….

MUSEUM HOURS (two people bond over fine art)–This trailer was preceded by a short film by the same director, a short that was such a piece of navel-gazing art house horseshit that I would rather blow my brains out than endure a similar feature-length experience.

Trailer Trash 1:

FRUITVALE STATION (based on a real-life incident on the Bay Area metro)–yes….

THE WAY WAY BACK (the always interesting Sam Rockwell guides a kid through his coming of age in a water park)–yes….

INSIDE LLEWYN DAVIS (the Coen Bros’ take on a ’60s folk singer’s travails)–based on the Coen Bros’ track record, this could go either way. Provisional yes.

About Your Sacrificial Moviegoer

We love to sit in the dark with a big tub of popcorn amid a roomful of strangers. Reports on what we witness there come in two varieties: Bullet Reviews quickly and concisely convey our take on a film, always in spoiler-free fashion; Trailer Trash reveals Your Sacrificial Moviegoer's best prediction on whether an upcoming movie is worth seeing, based solely on the trailer (the short "previews" before the feature presentation).
